Leg Pain
Never ignore severe leg pain. It could be an indication of peripheral artery diseases (PAD) caused due to blockages in the blood vessels.

Chest Pain
Chest pain is not the only warning sign! For women, heart attack symptoms are more subtle: nausea, sweating, vomiting, pressure and discomfort


Check-Ups
Doctors recommend an initial thorough heart check-up at age 40, if risk factors or family history of heart diseases exists. Else, age 50 is ideal!
Stroke
Watch out for strokes! Women are more likely to have strokes as a symptom of cardiovascular diseases.
